How the timing works
An LRC line starts with the moment it should appear, such as [01:23.45]. Each lyric becomes a caption that lasts until the next line starts; an empty timestamp ends it earlier, and the last line lasts four seconds. A chorus that lists several timestamps on one line becomes a caption at each of those times.
An offset tag at the top of the file moves every line by that many milliseconds, and the converter applies it. Word-by-word times from enhanced LRC files are removed and the line is kept.
Making it fit your video
LRC timings follow the song. If your video has an intro before the song starts, move the result with the subtitle time shifter.
Questions and answers
Can I convert SRT to LRC?
Yes. Use the SRT to LRC converter; each caption becomes one lyric line.
Are artist and title tags kept?
No. Tags such as [ar:] and [ti:] describe the song rather than a line of lyrics, so they are left out.
Does it work with lyrics in any language?
Yes. If letters look wrong, choose the file’s encoding under Text encoding.
